I've been researching the threads and it looks like the stock wiper arms can be replaced with 2 driver's side wiper arms from a Chevrolet Lumina or Oldsmobile Silhouette van. What I can't seem to determine is if this is a direct replacement, or if they have to modified somewhat to fit. I have located a wrecking yard that has the arms cheap ($5 each) but want to make sure I'm getting the right ones and that they fit before proceeding. Thanks!

You need to ream the hole with a taper.
Some have had good results with a step drill bit.
We sell them already done and refurbished with a correct taper and new blades and washers.

Just a couple of days ago someone asked me offline for Lumina arm
information; here's a quotation from that exchange; maybe it will help
someone else:
When I installed my Lumina wiper arms 6-8 years ago, I think I used the
largest of the 3 step drills in Harbor Freight's set of 3. But the thing
to do is pull the knurled adapter out of the old arm and match its outside
taper as closely as possible to your step drill.
When you ream the Lumina arm, be careful to leave that knurled adapter
about 1/32"-1/16" proud of the arm. Put the adapter on the wiper arm
pivot, then position the Lumina arm exactly where you want it. Carefully
remove the adapter and arm together, keeping the adapter in exactly the
same relationship to the arm. Position the pair in a vice (preferably with
a soft or smooth face on the front of the arm) and squeeze the adapter into
the softer arm. That will give you a good knurled grip between the adapter
and the arm in exactly the right location.
Some who have not followed that procedure have had the arms slip around the
adapter.
You'll need to use a couple of washers, preferably SS, between the arm and
the retaining nut because the Lumina arm is thinner than the OEM.

Although I have them on my coach and love the looks, they are definitely not as stiff as the stock units and will tend to judder more on slightly wet glass. Overall, I would still make the switch.
