Had something bust in my abdomen Tuesday at 345 pm. Worst pain I have ever suffered. Been in Cape Girardeau hospital ever since undergoing tests, found out today what they kept seeing was blood in my abdomen rolling around and not a large tumor. They took a biopsy of something this afternoon and will know what burst spilling the blood and causing the pain in a day or two. Felt like I had been shot In The abdomen with a 12 gauge, no warning signs.
That is the short of a long story. Never a dull moment when I am around. Still on some pretty good dope.
Dan
Maybe I can draw some kind of gov't check now, Very Happy

I'm sorry to here you are there. Hospitals are no fun.

I spent all day Tuesday at Lyola University Hospital. Nothing new for me just the same old stuff with different doctors.

Call me if you get bored.
I'll answer the phone.

I hope you get out of jail soon. Let me know if you need me to come down there and sneak you out past the guards.

Chrimanetly, Dan that's no fun. I've had my share of belly aches, mostly the fault of too generous hosts over serving me ;-)
My Isabel had a bout with kidney stones when she was 6 months pregnant with our girl. I've never seen a body in such pain.
You know the miracle of modern medicine from the blessings of your grandchild. Now it's your turn.
Hang tough. There are a lot of people pulling for you.

Thanks Ken. I feel pretty good after the pain medicine, for a couple of hours. Then, it all goes to a scrambled brain with lots of discomfort. Got them down from every 4 hours to every 2 hours now so I can kinda glide along. But still can't talk on phone.

Dang Dan, I was reading the messages, slipped away to look at some videos of VW Bugs, then came back to the bird feeder and there was your message.
I sure hope it's not as bad as it sounds. I really hate to see anyone have to be stuck in hospitals. I had a pain that put me in the hospital once for a week. The pain was so intense I had to lay in a fetal position and the docs wouldn't give me pain meds while they kept trying to figure out what it was. It finally went away by itself. It was Andrews AFB Malcom Grow hospital. They were so short handed I had to lay on the tile floor of my bathroom and give myself an enema (welcome to Affordable Care). Anyway, let's get you fixed up and out of there. You didn't eat too much ice cream did you as if such a thing was possible?

Jerry (can't sleep either)

Dan,

Call JimK,
If he doesn't have the parts, he can get them drop shipped.
Second thought, maybe better wait for morning in California.

All seriousness aside, I am glad you are in a hospital and not on the road to Quartzsite.
Glad you can joke about this.

5 am, Teri sleeping in my room. She takes good care of me. Did not want to report this here but after I let it slip out I had to say something. I feel like typing every 4 hours, when I get my shot of dope.
Jim K has already emailed wanting to know how I ended up here. Told him I came in by ambulance. I expect some kind of "part" to arrive before we get loose.
Thanks to everyone here for your thoughts. Don't want to say too much but enough so you know I need your prayers.
Dan

Darn, Dan! That's terrible. Sorry to hear you're down. You know all of
your GMC friends are pulling for you, even if we can't really help.

I'm on the way to the hospital this morning myself, but only to visit my 90
yo uncle who had his gallbladder removed yesterday afternoon. Not my
favorite place.

Hoolee Doolee!

This is NOT good news! You're the LAST person I figger'd would wind up in the hospital. You always look so healthy!

You're fortunate that you have Teri to take care of you, lots of friends to pray for you, and someone watching over you "up there!'

Get well quick!

Teri needs you, your Grandkids need you, GMCMI needs you, the GMCnet needs you, and most of all JimK needs you!

Rob M.

Get well Dan.

Hate hospitals but, darn-it, they're the only place to be when you can't make D.I.Y. repairs.

All the same, a trip to either of "the Jim's" places would be more fun.
