I like to flush mine every 2 years. One way that I use is I pull the lower hose off the water pump, and let it hang down. I don't pull it off of the radiator, as it's more apt to be damaged. Slip it back on, and fill with water. Start the engine, and let it run for about 3 min with heater on. I continue to repeat until the water come out clean. I like to pull the block drains during at least one of the cycles. Then put 3 gals of antifreeze in after the last drain. Then top off with water. Make sure you fill your overflow tank to the proper level with 50/50.

G'day,
A few tips I've learned from others since I've been hanging around here:
1) Don't by the premixed 50/50! You're paying a premium price for water! - EmeryS
2) Use distilled water. - GeneD
3) The radiator is mounted in its frame with four rubber isolators. It is grounded to the engine through the 5/16 OD metal lines
that attach the cooler in the radiator to the transmission. If you have added an additional transmission cooler with rubber hoses
make sure the ground still exists by jumpering the metal lines with a piece of wire and some clamps or you ain't got no ground! If
you have installed JR's braided SS engine oil cooler lines you've got a ground through those lines.- Me
