Well, just as the info you sent me, I was able to locate the low fuel switch under the dash. When I disconnect it the light goes out. That's at least good for now, it will not bug me. Don't know how accurate it is anyway. Are they accurate or just to make you feel good ????
I'm now in the process of examining it for defects. With my eyes I may not see them tho. If I cannot repair I suppose one of the Jims has a replacement or does anyone have a used one they don't need ??

I have found mine to be accurate. When the light ones on you had better switch to your other tank or fill up soon.

Looks like maybe there could be a solder break, but I can't get solder to stick to the area needed enough to check it.
Its there a special sider to use??

63-37 eutectic electronic solder. But the problem is probably that those boards have a conformal coating on them - a clear varnish. Get it off - acetone will melt it - and shine the runs and they should take solder.
