Pack rats ate into both air lines right in front under hood on left. My son temporarily connected them with a hard rubber and metal rings. Where can I get new lines.

I needed to raise it up but I do not travel in it.

Any place that has truck part will have the 1/4 nylon line in stock. If you buy a length of line and a few unions (nr of lines * 2), you should be patch the lines successfully. DOT spec parts cost more, but are a much better part. If you want lines in matching colors, call JimK.

Without a doubt, the best jury rig for the rear suspension is tow buy a pair of 1/4NPT Snifter valves at a hardware store and put then right into the fitting on the airbags. A "snifter" valve is used in home well systems to put air in the tank, they are just a scrader (tire stem) valve in a pipe fitting.

Most decent auto parts stores have the lines in bulk (by the foot).

Just buy a few feet and a couple of connectors to repair them. I know that the local NAPA has them at double the price of other local auto parts stores. My local CarQuest store also stocks them.

I wish I could find my leaks.

I went ahead and got new Firestone airbags for my Sully system, and replaced all nylon lines, red-right and black left DOT. I have a schrader valve and a check valve connected to each compressor, so it isn't a leak back at the compressors.

I ran lines to the front side panel and have gauges there next to the switches.

I fill up the bags to approximately 40 lbs each, and three days later they are down to under 20. When I first installed this system, it took 5 days for it to go under 20. That was annoying enough, but now three days ...

New compressors, new fittings, new valves and lines, all plumbing tape, no bubbles anywhere with the soapy water test. Sigh!

Could your air leak be inside the cab? I think there are "O" rings in the control panel.

Sounds like you did it all right and carefully. I would question the check valves. I know they are supposed to close but I am wondering if they are failing to seal all the way. If the compressor is holding some of the pressure the flow will perhaps be too little to set the valve solidly.

Perhaps you could take the tube off at the compressor, but after the check valve and see if there are bubbles in that line. Listen as you break it loose as it may seal without the compressor "helping".

Generally, the shut-off valve and Schrader are installed on or VERY near the airbag inlet. That way, you can fill the bags as needed to get ride height correct and then isolate the bags from possibly leaky lines and junctions.

Agreed with Mac. Schrader valves at the bags then If the rest of it leaks out over time who gives a rip? Set em and shut the valves. Heck, if you have a pair of fives for castor you can just leave em locked out and the only reason you remember you left it that way is cause you've been staring out the windshield so long you actually have time to remember. it will drive fine.

Which reminds me, on Frank's PB, my old one, thee Schrader valves are upstream of the cutoff valves. For reasons best known to whomeverputy them on. So if there's a leak in the plumbing, it will leak while you fill through the Schrader. Only benefit I can see is, a missing or leaky Schader won't drop the coach after the valve is closed.
