Ok, had my intake gaskets replaced with Jim's crossover kit. Had my mechanic do it. I noticed when I took back the motorhome to storage that the oil pressure looked a bit low. I saw it at idle hovering a bit above low at times and around the first tick mark others. Reving it up never got it past the second tick much. Checked the oil level and it looked perfect. When I first started it today...let it set for a day...the oil pressure went way up, like it normally does when first starting it...but as it warmed up the oil pressure continued to drop. Not sure whats normal, but there has been a change in it since the intake manifold was pulled and gaskets replace. I'm a little concerned. Anyone have any guidance on this?

Did you pull the dipstick and check the oil -- including smelling it for traces of fuel?
Are the readings from your stock gauges or do you have aftermarket?
A short story here -- when I bought my 23 the oil pressure was very consistent -- but dropped about 10psi when it got dark! Then I realized it went back up when I turned off the headlights.
So check the connections for your oil pressure sender since they could have been disturbed when the manifold work was done.

Yes it's the stock oil pressure gauge. I was wondering about the electrical issue as well. I'll dbl check the wiring on it.
Yep pulled the dip stick on it and the oil level was perfect. I did not smell it for fuel odor though.

Like Dan said that connection to the sender can be flakey and that would have been reconnected. Clean and tighten connection (increase springy tension with mini screwdriver) to sender.

If you verify the low oil pressure with another gauge I would bet that the oil pickup screen is partially blocked with pieces of carbon and bits of gasket material that fell into the engine when the manifold was replaced.
Story: I saw a similar oil pressure issue some years ago on a Ford V8 that had the oil pickup about 3/4 blocked off with sludge. When the engine was cold and the oil was thick there wasn't much flow required through the pickup screen and the oil pressure was good. As the engine warmed up and the oil thinned out there needed to be substantially more flow but because of all the gunk blocking the oil pickup the pressure would drop off to almost nothing even when the engine was revved. When warmed up the engine had a faint buzzing noise like that of a power steering pump that's low on fluid. Removing the oil pan and cleaning out all the crap from the pan and pickup screen fixed the problem.

You may have coolant in the oil. Sounds like the symptoms and it's
generally the result of swapping out the intake. Drain the oil and take a
sample from the middle of the drain and have it analyzed. Coolant in the
oil is usually death to an engine.
