Sometimes things break.

While we were preparing to get underway this morning, Mary thought that the door of the hanging locker (closet) was not unlatching. She asked for assistance. Well it was unlatched, but refused to open. I worked at it a little harder and got it started, but I could not tell what the real issue was until I got the door open enough to see that the mirror had come loose from the door back and was preventing the door from opening more. I was able to get a hand in and pull it loose the rest of the way without damage.

It had been mounted with tirm mount (double stick) foam tape and the foam has let go. I'm not just sure what I am going to do about it. I am real sure it will wait until we are back home.

The foam tape should be a good idea, but how about adding some simple mirror clips on the top and bottom of the mirror to hold it in place as well? Should be available at any home center or hardware store.

Hi Matt, I got some stuff that will glue it to the door. Will just have to tape it or block it till it sets. Anxiously awaiting your arrival.

Foam tape is not a good long term solution. My coach, this Summer, has temperatures as high as 130 F inside. I suspect foam tape would disintegrate at these temp ranges.
Use the simple mirror or glass "Ls", available at any hardware store.

My mirror fell off last year. It did not break, thank God, I do not
need anymore bad luck. My thought was that it had held for 40 years
with the double sided sticky tape, so I replaced the double sided sticky
tape and hope for another 40 years. Glad you are having fun on your trip.
