Steve
Turned on propane at tank tonight
Smelled propane gas"garlic" new valve" last year.
Checked with soapy water no bubbles.
Hose shot?
We only smell the gas back at the tank.
Need an other set or two of eyes when we pull in to Coos Bay.
We are are okay.
Small electric heater on board
Thanks
Howard

Did you turn the tank valve "ALL THE WAY ON?"
They will always leak if not full on or full off.

Howard,
Stop at a hardware store in Ferndale today and pick up a small bottle of
gas leak detector. The stuff works pretty good and stays on fittings
longer than soapy water.

Make sure if replacing copper you use at least "L" thickness copper not "M' that you will find in the blue and orange store. The plumbers made zillions off M copper down here with microscopic leaks that developed years later. There have been little if no problems with "L" or even thicker "K" copper ever. Go see your plumbing supply house. By the way 90% of plumbers will still use copper on their own homes.
