SCRIBES
(a person who copies out documents, esp. one employed to do this before
printing was invented.)

Here is your chance to define a rally

send me an email during the rally, (not a text or a tweet) from:
- your phone
- your tablet
- your smart device
- with or without a picture attached
- a few words of information

with the description of something you saw at the rally
*and I will publish it ASAP..... during the rally*
this way,
- every dog will get his due
- we will be spontaneous
- you can make a difference
- you will be a real part of the rally
- we will not forget anything
- everything will be shown

so send to
mr.erfisher@gmail.com
and be a part of the moment

Gene; will you be wearing the outfit we see in your emails????
In Quebec they have a law against covering up your face - especially when
entering a Bank.

The Coos Bay madness has begun..Judy and I are expecting 5 Gmc Coaches here
about dark for an overnight informal gathering tonight. Getting excited to
see our GMC friends again. Will get them all parked and feed them some good
hearty food. Enjoy some fellowship too. Then, caravan of GMC's to GMCWS
/CASCADERS /49ers combined rally at Coos Bay. Wow, something for everyone.
Tech stuff, culinary schools, wine walks, vendors, cannot hardly wait. If
you only get to one rally a year, DO NOT MISS THIS ONE.

There's a caravan of Pacific Cruisers coming across with plans on
overnighting in Redding, at the Elks lodge. If any of you are reading
this, my advice would be to get here as close to noon as possible. We
arrived at 1:30 and there were 7 spaces left. By 3pm, all were filled and
there were folks dry camping in the huge shaded parking lot. When you
arrive, park in a hook up space before you go in and register with the
bartender. This is the nicest Elks lodge we've ever stayed at and the
weather is just about perfect.

Well, Sharon and Dwayne Jacobson and Dan and Judy Borlase arrived at our
place on the way to Coos Bay, last night about 9:00 PM in the middle of
torrential rain and high winds. They battled the storm from Seattle to
Salem, Or and were really beat. We got them parked, and treated them to a
hearty dinner, consisting of Jim Hupy's Clam Chowder, a great tossed green
salad, oven toasted bread, and Wine,. Oh yes, did I mention we had wine
before, during and after dinner. Wound up about 11:30 all staring into our
empty wine glasses, so they all turned in for the needed rest. Haven't seen
hide nor hair of them this morning. I stayed up to 12:30 AM preparing a
breakfast casserole that I just took out of the oven. Man does the house
smell good. We will take a day of rest, and maybe catch a little football
this afternoon. Gals have some shopping to do and lots of stuff to talk
about. Man, is it great to have GMC friends.

We are in Furtuna tonight.
Riverwalk RV Park.
Had one of the best dinner at Vi's in Ferndale.
Sorry Steve Papa Joes is only open for breakfast and lunch.
If you ever in Ferndale try Vi's for dinner.
The best Mac and Cheese made with local cheese.
Short ribs, home made ice cream and outstanding local wine.
Steve we will try Papa Joes tomorrow.
I'll give you a report when we meet in Coos Bay.
Thanks

We arrived Saturday late afternoon and immediately stirred up a major storm.. . We rocked and rolled through Sunday but only occasional light showers so far today.; the weekend outlook is great... A Canadian coach and the Bovee's are here so far... It's a nice RV Park and Casino; the shuttle bus driver said she can take you to town as well as the casino...Thought we would take the VW Thing to the dunes but we haven't ventured out so far... Drive safe, Happy motoring!

Three coaches left my place for Coos Bay about 10:00 am. Jacobson,
Borlase, and one other Canadian coach. They were headed S on I 5 to Drain,
then were following the Senic Umpquah River to Reedsport. Some were headed
to Florence to join up with the Dune Buggy crowd, and some to Coos Bay via
Hwy 101. We are leaving tomorrow early, should be to Coos Bay by noonish.
See all of you soon.

Hey Kirk;

The sand paddles are on their way. I'm just outside of Eugene.
Suppose to be in Coos Bay by 3:30pm. Looks like the good sand weather
won't be until thursday, but the dunes should be nice and smooth by
then...

Jimmy and Judy and "The Cinnamon Bear"?

Oh, no, that isn't what you call your coach, is it? Sorry 'bout that.

We are headed north on 101. Currently in Eureka. Torrential rain last night in Legget. Two very minor drips means successful caulking. Expect some of the CA crowd to start passing us soon. See you Friday.

We are on the way to Coos Bay too. Currently sitting in Boise and back on the road tomorrow. So far we have driven 2,500 miles and only have 600 to go!

(Then only another 1800 miles to Arizona!)

I am determined to have my Cad powererd coach in Coos Bay Wed AM.
I have a strange sound that seems to be coming from the right turbo.
I will be taking the 101 highway Tuesday PM.
