Good Morning
I've recently completed a 2 year project on my dash.  I had two goals with this project;
1.  To install a new double din satellite radio with new speakers for good quality sound in the cab.
2.  To make room on my dash for an awesome electronic gauge system that I found.

Relocating & installing the radio was easy, I built a box and located it
between the regular dash and glove compartment.  In the box I mounted the JVC satellite radio AND the existing
dash heater controls.  Along with the new radio I installed 6 speakers.  Two at the top center of the windshield, one pointing at the driver and one pointing at the passenger, the module I found is sold for use in a
Jeep Wrangler.  Then two tweeters, one located on top of the dash on
each side corner, and then two standard speakers on each side panel near the floor pointing slightly upward.  When the speaker setting are
balanced and set properly, it literally sounds like the music is coming
out of the windshield, very awesome sound quality.  With the
relocating of the radio and heater controls it gave me plenty of room on the old dash area for my new gauge system. You can pictures of the radio and speaker installations here:
http://tiny.cc/tir23w

The 2nd part of this project was my new electronic gauge system.  This
system consists of a sensor interface unit that collects data from a
variety of sources and sensors, it then transmits the data via cable to a colored LCD display which actually displays colored instruments and
data readings.   The data I chose to display is as follows:
1.  Engine RPM
2.  Engine Water Temp
3.  Transmission Oil Temp
4.  Volts
5.  Engine Vac

6.  Left Front Wheel Bearing Temp (accomplished by installing a ring tongue terminal thermistor under the front wheel bearing zerk fitting).
7.  Oil Pressure
8.  Final Drive Oil Temp
9.  Right Front Wheel Bearing Temp
10.  MPH  (accomplished by programming the system to measure pulses
generated by the Rostra Cruise Control Sensor.  I do not have this
hooked up yet).
11.  Outside Air Temperature (accomplished by mounting a temp sensor on the front grill)
12.  Dash Heating & A/C duct temp.  (accomplished by mounting a temp sensor in the heater top distribution box)
12.  Engine Compartment temp.   (accomplished by mounting a temp sensor in the rear of the engine compartment)

I got the system installed along with all of the sensors about a month
ago, it's absolutely awesome.  I'm still tweaking a few of the settings
but on a recent trip it was great to see all of this information.  Here are the pictures of the gauge display:

The link to the gauge system was bad, here is hopefully the correct one.

Ok, bring it to a convention and give us a tech session on it.

It looks as good IRL as it looks in the pictures. The dash pod RayE built for the radio and heater controls is very interesting and looks great.

very nice. I like the speaker mounts, I will keep my eye out for those. I put speakers down at the lower panels. blasts the music right at the seats, and can't be heard well. whoops.

I do have to comment at the view out of the windshield. for a second I thought you were parked in front of my garage, with the boat jammed in there and all the other toys around it!

too many toys and not enough garage, I guess is not the worst problem to have.
