Teri and I hope everyone has as nice a ride home as we did. Only traffic was around Springfield. Some folks were taking 13 north to miss the 5 hills. We just pointed it toward home and took off up 65. So good to see everyone.

Tried to take off at 745 am. Blew one of the band clamps back and had to stop and fix the exhaust leak. Got out at 750 am. Passed one coach on 65 close to Springfield. Only coach we saw all morning. Maybe we were ahead of the others traveling east on 60. I should have invited anyone passing through Dexter to stop for the night. Should anyone be passing through later, feel free to stop in our driveway.

Now you tell me. I passed Dexter at about 6PM on my way to my son's place in Louisville.

What's going on with all the grass fires right next to the shoulder of the highway near your town? I sure would hate to break down and have to pull over next to a fire.

Had a good time and enjoyed chatting with you everyone else.

Ended the day at a Walmart in Princeton, KY.

I thought about parking at Walmart to watch gmc s pass through but didn't. Have not seen the grass fires but have smelled burning corn fields ever since we got home.
Enjoy the visit with your son. Nice having you in Branson.
