I swung by the LeMay museum (AKA America's Car Museum)here in Tacoma today.
Four floors of cars; some common some very rare.
I've included a few pictures, just to give a taste.
They're open 363 days a year, and is well worth the visit

The crazy part is that this may be 10% to 20% of the total collection.

I agree. I've been to a lot of car museums, including the old, now
disbanded, Harrah's in Reno. The new Lemay is one of the best -- but the
old one at Mary Mount College near the Lewis-McChord Joint Base in Tacoma
is even better, to me -- and that's STILL only a small part of the total
collection!

These museums really are a lot of fun to see. Years ago, I went to see Harrah'sin Reno, and have enjoyed them ever since.

I hope that Jay Leno keeps his collection together and opens it to the public at some time as I think he probably has a great collection at this point, and it's a shame to keep these great cars hidden away.
