Between getting TWO coaches mobile at the same time and unexpected visits
from the inlaws plus some emergency vet bills (Sophie's fine, turns out to
just be colitis, food is switched out), I can't make it to Branson.

Not responsibly at any rate.

I could take a payday loan or apply for a credit card or let my mortgage or
car note bounce (they're big banks so it's not like I'm stiffing somebody
that works for a living... the house keeper and yard guy get paid before
the credit cards) but it wouldn't be the responsible adult thing to do.

So, I'm afraid Branson isn't in the cards. I had to forfeit the cabin
rental, but they put it as a credit to some future stay.

Tom P. said he would bring back the parts that I've ordered and paid for
already that JimK is delivering. I need to find somebody local to look at
knocking out the bearing races in my drums. I guess I'll just do a full
replace of all the bearings and not re-use any.

I was really looking forward to hanging out with everybody. :( And I wanted
ot introduce my wife to y'all and let her see even more great GMC people.
(She's already met Tom and Marilyn, and she thinks Rob Mueller is awesome
and said that he reminds her of her grandfather... and of course, Helen is
adorable and dangerous, like a lot of Australian things).
Fall rallies may be bad for me, anyway.. comes too close to the end of the
fiscal year for my employer (The Feds). The Spring rally in Texas is at
least close to some of my wife's family. 120 miles to Palestine and then on
to Dallas ain't that far in GMC miles. :)

Robin,

You will be missed.

An Idea - Put up a banner on here and the face book group (I don't FB, I can't tell you much) That says "Too late to register for Branson - Take my cabin at my cost (please).

I asked if I could do that and they said no... But they said I could use it
any time in the next year.
