Registration at the GMCMI rally this fall is different than past rallies. This fall, the KOA campground that is hosting our rally has asked that we give up parking to them. They are better equipped to handle parking in their park than we are. So...when you enter the KOA campground, pull into either of the two KOA registration lines setup in their driveway. Shut off and go into the park office. Our executive director and rally coordinator, Kim Weeks, worked with KOA personnel and have already assigned a camping spot for you according to your needs, be they Handicapped accessibility to the convention center or parking with a specific group. You will then be instructed to follow a KOA employee driving a golf cart to your assigned camping site. After parking at your assigned spot, walk over to the convention center to register for the rally and get your registration materials. There will not be a GMCMI greeter at the KOA campground office, but there will be plenty of us to greet you (we can’t wait to see you) at the convention center. Can't wait to see ya all!!

What happens if we show up late, say after midnight? In the past I just found a vacant spot, parked and went to bed. With campground/GMCMI registration on my mind first thing when the sun got up.

Hi Everyone,
Hope that your travels are going well. We are excited to see you soon in
the "Live Music Capital of the World!" We have been working setting up the
convention for your arrival. If you plan on arriving after 7:00 pm at the
KOA and have reservations for that particular day, here are the
instructions for parking. Pull into the entrance and on the right hand side
is the KOA office. Right of the first door is a board with many clips.
There your name will appear with your site number. A map will also be there
for your convenience.
If you are arriving prior to your reservations, the overflow lot is an
option for you.
Where the fun is...Branson Bound!
See ya all soon...Kim

Just the info I needed. I'm still finishing up a new exhaust system, parking brakes and other stuff on my GMC with the usual install problems. That is why I don't know exactly when I will be arriving.

Kim,
When will we see our refund for the rally? You were going to send me one T shirt in the XL size too.
Just want to know.

Hi John
Since the GMCnet is not the official email site of GMCMI and since Kim is busier than the one armed paper hanger right now, you might want to send your message to her at kimweeksgmc@ gmail.com if you want her to read it soon.

OK, so you are in site 151. Come in the main entrance and either stop and pick up the "BRANSON KOA" Guest services guide (in a brochure slot next to the office door) and check the map in the center section of the guide for your site.
OR
Come in the main entrance, and take the first immediate left after the "STOP" sign. Follow the road around to the hard left. (You will make a kind of "U turn". You will pass in front of sites 111, 113,115,117,119, and 120 on the left. Go past 124 on the right for another 15 yds or so and turn right down the hill. On the left will be sites 147, 148,149, and the site you were assigned...151. Turn left into it, it is a pull through. The next site (not numbered) is a grassy picnic area. Straight down the hill from you is the Convention center.
BTW, DON"T go straight after the STOP sign. It takes you down a hill into another camping area...you'l get lost in there at night.
OR
Call me about 5 miles out and I'll meet you at the office.
It'L be good to see you two.
