A guy came by yesterday by appointment with his wife and took a look at my 'parts' Palm Beach. I offered it to him in trade straight uop for a Ranger pickup he's done a really sanitary job of stuffiong a 302 into. His wife works for Summit Racing, which I suspect provided many of the parts for the swap. My idea is to use the little truck as a toad and impress Kanomata with its performance. If they decide to swap, the PB will get rehabbed more quickly and back on the orad. This gent is a mechanic for Delta, the little truck has the best looking lines and fittings you ever saw. I >hope< there's not a 737 someplace with Ranger brake lines on it.....
I told him the deal sweetener was/is, he's got to take the SOB as well. Rotten '78 Itasca on a P30 chassis. Engine trans and chassis good, rest is a writeoff.
We shall see...

He's all over reading the Forum and other sites. I figure he'll put the old PB back on the road quicker than I would. He needs a shelter to stay in at his new spread up the road while he builds his dream house. Which is probably why he brought his wife along to look. Wise move sez me.

Keep us posted and take pictures if the deal goes through.
Don't forget to point him to the net also.

I always heard First On Race Day...
My own 1990 Bronco has been a truly faithful companion with fairly minimal
maintenance. And the 351 windsor is a marvelous motor.
Indeed, it occurs to me that a 351 would probably bolt right in to that
ranger.... all the tricky bits have been done...
