We were hoping to get to the Crystal Bridges Museum. When I look at maps, it might be 60 miles by air, but it is looking more like 100 plus miles be real road, but the goat trail roads can cut that to 88? It is worth it to save the 12 miles (maybe 2 gallons)?

I'm with Matt. Anyone have experience with roads on the Southwest side of Branson? Last time I was through there I was in a hotdog sports car. Curves and hills were part of the reason for the trip.

Pretty much hills and curves and quite a few of them. Take it easy and it really is a scenic drive. A stop in Eureka Springs might break it up a little. You would have to go up to Springfield, out toward Joplin, then South to avoid hills and stay on double lane. Quite a bit further and would not save any gas or time.
I lived in those hills when I was a kid.
