A question for the folks who use a backup camera as a full time rear view.

Got my wireless backup monitor working. Ended up installing a relay triggered off the infamous yellow wire (Switched 12V) up front and running the resultant new switched wire all the way to the back, tie wrapping it to other things that won't move and allow it to be cut.

Mounted it up above the rear window.

Now the only remaining question is where to mount the actual monitor. I don't want to put it where the current rear view mirror is because I might want to see what is going on in the coach while I'm driving.

That leaves the dash somewhere. About in the center mounted on top of the dash works pretty well but it could also go on top of the instrument panel or ??

Before I drill a bunch of holes in things and then see a better idea at Branson, what have you folks done?

Mine is fastened to the front cap above the mirror. Its out of the way yet easy to glace at when needed. Also its shaded from the sun so no glare and easy to see in bright daylight.

My Magellan GPS has an input for composite video from camera. Makes a nice all in one monitor system. 7" screen is very nice at distances from driver, installed by suction cup to windshield.
