I have no plans on getting the windshield guys to Branson. It is just too far for away for them. It is a little over 600 miles.
We did them in the GMCMI rallies in Elkhart and also Amana.
The business is based in Crown Point / Merrillville, Indiana. The business has contracts for weekday 2 hour on site service for several trucking companies and they can not just walk away from their contracts for the required 4 or 5 days it would take to do Branson.
If you are traveling though the Chicago area going to or from the rally, they will still do GMC's on the weekends in their shop. You will need to arrange this ahead of time with them to make sure they have the windshields in stock.
If we have another rally in the future within a few hundred miles of Chicago again, I'll work with Kim and the windshield guys to get them out there again.

Kerry, I paid $500 plus taxes to have two windshields installed in Niceville, FL. I had the 2 windshields and new rubber gasket. Took the guy the entire morning. Did a very nice job. They would not cover the glass if they dropped it and broke it during the install.

Speaking of windshields, there's a new-in-the-box passenger side available
in NC for $300 -- pick up only. I have the details.

windshield and installed the used clear windshield. Took them less then 40

$100. They have installed GMC windshields for Barry Owens of Lexington,
NC, too. On the other hand, I asked a local mobile service here in Coos
Bay, OR, what they would charge to set the stationary window just behind
the driver on a 77 coach. They estimated between $125 to $150 for a very
simple install (caulk the window and put the rubber back around it).
After I said I was only charged $85 for the removal/replacement of the
windshield, they never got back to me; I've been waiting for 10 days now.
I guess they decided they didn't need my business. I will probably do it
myself.

I do not know if they will do it. I'll PM you his number and you can call and ask.
You are a quite a distance away to have it done there unless you are passing through the area. Otherwise the gasoline cost to get there will kill you.
He only does GMCs on Saturdays in his shop. He is busy with his regular business on other days of the week. Plan on spending at least 3 hours there.
Jim K. also sells windshields delivered to your location. You would have to get a local installer to put them in. I have watched them do many, many GMCs (I lost count) and I know I would never attempt it on my own.
If you have a local guy do it make sure they seal around the window inside the rubber track. This will slow down or prevent future fogging. Also have them seal across the top between the body and the rubber seal. Do not let them remove both windshields at the same time unless they are also replacing the rubber seal. The windshield provides some support to the upper portion of fiberglass cap and sometimes you have to provide additional support to the cap / roof with both removed at the same time.

You can remove the seal one side at a time and do it that way.
Ken said he has only had a few of them give him trouble with both sides out at the same time and he did not note what years those coaches were.
If he is in his shop he has no problem coping with the potential problem. On the road (a parking lot or rally installation) is another issue because he does not carry the equipment to support the roof while trying to install the new seal and first windshield. His business is semi-trucks and buses with a little automotive thrown in. He refuses to work on most brands of motorhomes. GMCs are one of the few he says are rigid enough in front for the body not to shift out of shape around the windshields.
I do not know any more than what I have said as I am only repeating what I was told by Ken D.
