Has anyone had any success in persuading their local gas station to carry ethanol-free gas? I would think that if nothing else, you could get landscapers and other small-engine gas users to help carry the message to local stations to carry at least a pump or two dedicated to real gasoline.

Those of you coming to Branson that may go thru Springfield (MO) to get there, many of the Rapid Roberts stations carry premium unleaded with no poison added. Other stations have followed suit and advertise that fact on their marquees. If you are coming down 65 from I-44, exit at Sunshine and go about ONE block west to a Rapid Roberts. Their market is "Corvette and Harley people".
In Missouri, premium is exempt from the "poison mandate". I use this stuff in one of my planes approved for "mogas".

They sell mostly "Race Fuel" in 5 gallon increments at $13/gal. I want to use it in the coach and eventually an old airplane that can't take the lead of 100LL fuel.
But not at $13/gal!

Hmmm... I didn't realize the station at the pavilions sold those fuels. I get better MPG with my daily driver using higher octane, which makes it cost less for me per gallon than 87. I'll have to check out if they have 91 E0 there.
