Need to replace a few bulbs in the interior lights of the 1976 Royale, but for the life of me can't figure out how to get the covers off, and would really rather not break one trying to figure it out. Owners manual only mentions what bulb they take. These are the square lights mounted under the cabinets with the black slide switch on the side. Thanks!

I have had more of a problem with replacement lenses randomly popping out than being stuck in. That is until I found a trick - I am probably not the only one to use it.
I am referring to the malleable plastic replacement lenses you get from JimK or from an RV supply. I noted that, out of the packaging and directly placed in the fixture, the little tabs (whether cut or on there stock) just barely grab the fixture. They fall out with hardly any movement.
If you take the lens and hang the tab over a vice or an anvil, and lightly peen the tab with a smooth faced hammer, that will essentially squash the tab out an additional millimeter further than stock. Then with a little shaping, it goes right in the slot and doesn't fall out when you hit a bump in the road. They are still easy to remove and they don't fly about the coach anymore.
