The fan doesn't seem to be getting enough air across condenser at idle. The condenser looks clean. I'm thinking it's the fan clutch. Any input on this? Bob Dunahugh GMCMI Member

Alex Sirum gmc in Fl. installed an auxiliary fan in front of the condenser on my '75
It comes on when the AC is turned on helpful in the Texas heat

Always fix the real problem. If your OEM fan isn't pulling enough air
across the condenser, then it's not working properly. Installing an aux
ele fan often blocks ram air causing even more cooling problems.

The fan wasn't getting enough air across condenser at idle. The condenser looked clean. It was the fan clutch. New fan clutch. It works perfect. Putting new boots on the steering shaft now. Delivering the coach to Madison Wis. tomorrow. He's going to then fly me home in his plane that he keeps at his ranch. He's going to keep the GMC in his hanger next to his plane. The GMC will have a nice home.
