Wow! This has turned into a regular Dixielanders meet dismantling the parts coach near Gadsden Alabama. Tom Phipps, Chuck Boyd, Mark Kanilowski and myself are all showing up with power tools, generators, etc. early Sunday morning. I saw this original 23' GMC Sequoia when returning from Dothan in March. I didn't remove anything from it at that time. Recently, Espen Heitman in Norway mentioned he was restoring one and needed the specific Sequoia green and birch parts among other things. He is a perfectionist. Tom Phipps was passing through town on his way to Huntsville and the plan came together. It quickly be came apparent that we would need a majority of parts so I bought the entire coach. The seller is letting us dismantle it on his property and leave the body behind. It will just blend in. Many of you have spoken up about parts and already purchased them. Tom started a list of things to remove as they can only be found on parts coaches. Everyone contributed. If you meant your suggestion to be a request let me know. I've priced everything from reasonable posts on this site and from asking owners who have parted coaches. I only want to get my investment back and some parts for my coach. Every time I part out something-mostly classic Glastron boats-I say "Never Again!" The friends I have made all over the world make it worth it. Let me know if you would like to join us.

Devin,
Could you set up a laptop with a webcam or set up a camera smart enough to
take a shot every so often? It would be neat to watch a high speed video of
y'all dismantling this thing... like one of those nature documentaries when
the ants devour the grasshopper. :)

Well, I'm not talking about live-streaming the event. :) There is a Windows
Power Toy that will let it snap a picture from a webcam and save it to a
directory. From there, it's easy enough to throw the .jpgs into Windows
Movie Maker and make a time lapse video. That's if you odn't have a camera
that can do it automaticfally. :)
I used a laptop like that once to log temperature data from my attic. i was
trying to determine whether a radiant barrier or attic fan would help keep
things cool. Pointed my webcam at the thermometer and let it run.
You'd want to keep the camera or laptop/webcam powered but out of the way,
and not interfere with people doing the work, so it might be one of those
ideas that sounds neat in theory, but no so great in practice. :)

My Droid X has a time lapse video mode (that most people don't even know about). I've used it to take some really great videos - some driving, some landscape / sunscape, some claymation, and some showing a couple granddaughters doing magic tricks (like the oldest one making the youngest one disappear, then smiling).
If someone there has a similar phone / video camera, it should be pretty simple to set it up - probably plugged into a cigarette lighter charger inside a car, looking out (just think about the direction of the sun shining directly on the "lens", so you don't end up with hours of white screen).

I just downloaded a free app for the iPhone/iPad, you can set it to
whatever interval you need. Pretty neat. The dismantling would make a
great movie for the YewTubes.

Suggestion - as you remove stuff put the nuts, bolts, screws, washers, whatever that attach it to whatever in Ziploc bags and keep
it with the part it would be helpful to people that want the parts.

Salvage Parts
We would like the complete FUEL TANK FILLER NECK ASSEMBLY for the fuel tank filler system.
We would like it from the gas cap down to where the neck attaches to the rubber hose down by the frame and attachments.
We would also like the FUEL FILLER ACCESS BOX where the filler neck and gas cap resides. I guess you would have to cut the body around the filler access door to get the box. Any questions, call
