I just posted some pictures of a GMC at Bonneville
Salt Flats. They are on the Wander Inn photo site.
There was no one around to get pictures of the inside.
The interior was removed, It had a unique roll bar
system.

The shots on http://palmerdesignsltd.com/ are great. I wonder how good that grill is at assisting with cooling? Or does the scoop help? Or don't they worry about it since it's not running very long?

dagnabbit, it won't let me link straight to the GMC slide. It's number 13.

I thought it was a normal engine that has been souped up, not an LS Chevy?

I have lot more current pictures, but not smart enough to put it up.
Maybe Rob M can help me.
By the way I got my 540 Caderac( ornamental version of a Cadillac ). twin
turbo, inter cooled, port injected fired up.
Hope to get it trimmed to run around here for couple weeks , then prepare
for a run to Branson, MO Convention.
I will be going up to Idaho to visit my Aunt and give respects to my
Mother's grave, then to Wyoming,Colorado, and East to MO.

Dan,
We coached them on the front and rear.
Rear has our Duel Stabilizer Bar Kit and Quadra Bag, front has our
Combination Urethane and rugger grommets and our rebuilt lower A frame that
Steve Ferguson does for us ant the HD front stab. bar.
KYB Shocks.
They were geared too high for the run, so they will be back to run with a
3.55 gears with limits slip.

Gary,
The driver was Britt Palmer, he is the man.
He has the incurable bug that is slowly working on his body to where
eventually he will become immobile.
The three guys you met were: Steve Woodward,Rob Terkhorn and Britt Palmer.
They are truly 3 guys that have been together since their college days.
If I'm not mistaken, they disappear for a whole week about 4 times a year
by themselves and enjoy their company.
Yes, they are bunch of characters but they have proven to me as men of
their word.
