I purchased a lighted assist handle that mounts outside by the door. However there were no instructions to suggest where to mount it. Does anyone have a picture they could send to me with one installed?

Or, the dimensions from the top of the mount to the top of the door?

Thanks.

Hello Emery

I too have one of these to install. Can you share the location information and are you wiring it into the porch light circuit?

Thanks

Jim, I added a separate switch for the lighted handle. That way I can leave just one or the other on if I want to. The handle looks quite dramatic lit up by it's self.

I also put LEDs in my porch light. The little incandescent bulb in the handle draws a very small amount of power, about the same as the six LEDs in the porch light.

Did I miss it or can someone post a link or product ID for the handle? Looks great!

I wired mine into the floor lighting circuit so that I can illuminate the handle separately from the porch light.

IMO the aesthetic effect of the lighted handle is lost when the porch light is illuminated at the same time.
