Well,
Here we are in the wilds of the Door Peninsula struggling along with 3G and 1X and my Firefox went down. It wouldn't advance along a thread. I tried both Chrome and (last resort) IE, both did work, but at 1X both were too slow to tolerate. So, I did the only other thing I could think of, I gave up. Now that we are back below Sturgeon bay and headed for Green Bay, I have 4G and just loaded the newer Firefox and It works great. I expect everything to work great tonight, but when we head up into the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) I expect to be back to 1X if I am lucky.

Tomorrow we will stop at the railroad museum that has one of the few surviving Big Boys and then up to the largest well pump engine at Iron mountain.

The coach is being its usual DC3 dependable self.

Matt

I bet that the O F F switch is working. O F F is a great setting in the U. P. to really leave the troubles of the world behind.

Good one John. My satellite system was not working at Dothan. Was not sure what was up but seemed to be a bad piece of coax. I decided we did not need tv every night and we didn't. I never tried to fix it while there. Same might very well be said about Internet. However I really love keeping up with what my friends here are doing on a daily basis.
Oh, when we got home I found the coax had been pinched almost into two pieces where it comes out of the dish base. Took me 4 hours to fix it, hole dish mechanism had to come out.
Anyway, sometimes little outside information is better for us. Never takes long to catch up.
Matt, glad you and Mary are finally getting time to get out and go in the GMC. After doing the same thing for 5 years it has been hard on us being stuck near home for 2 years. That will change shortly and I can get back to my blog, as long as we have Internet. Laughing
