Well,Took the UAV out for a little drive, made a few stops,All Good! Belts start squealing so I shut off the dash air.I go to start genny and nothing,I pull the drawer
out and hit the start and it starts, then stops then woomp, woomp click. I wanted roof air!I never got it.Almost home and I see the light GEN headlights are dimming
air pump is struggling and its starting to get low.I made it home but.I must have somehow shorted the alternator output with the back and forth on the 2 start switches and the pump relay on the gennny.I don't know so I am going to rip off the alternator and get it on the bench check at the local parts store. If its bad I wonder how easy it will be for the Dumas to cross check and get me one in.Should be comical at best!!!

I was able to use a battery charger to charge the battery, get it started and pumped up off the ground and back in its position in the backyard.I also find the battery in the back is toast but I want to rig from generator power to progressive box to air pump in case of this again

Gene's link has some good instructions on how to check your alternator and isolator.

I'm not sure where your air pump is located, but in my 77 palm beach its in a cupboard under the house electrical. I ran a power wire for the pump to the house power in the cabinet above. This was more to eliminate the 30 odd feet of #12 wire supplying the pump from the front fuse panel.

Install a combiner as Gene's link shows and your converter will charge the engine battery, whether the converter is power from shore or the Onan.

Sounds like you run your air pump in Auto mode so its continuously compensating for load shifts on the rear wheels. I'm not convinced that is necessary. I set mine to auto on a level parking area just as I leave. It comes to auto level and shuts down then I set it to Hold. When I stop for fuel, I set it to Auto to reset the level, then back to Hold.

Air leak, and its kinda hard to tell when you have none so yes it is in auto.Yes nice link easy to meter out but I am tired from weeding out the space to get it back in.This is when I first wrangled it into the Backyard!!!
