My GMC has three Class I receivers, in addition to a frame mounted hitch. There is a Class I receiver frame mounted under the bumper, one on the left and one on the right. The third one is mounted above the bumper under the spare tire carrier; I've used this one with a bike carrier.

My question is whether there is something that people use these class I hitches for (aside from a bike carrier) that would warrant having these two under the bumper. They are mounted pretty solid - I've guessed some kind of clothesline maybe? I've thought of using these for a cargo carrier. I was just wondering if there was some great use for these I hadn't seen or considered.

Thanks,
Galen

That's certainly a noble use in my book. I am envisioning a cargo carrier so I can bring my smoker and grill with us.
