I am looking for a 50 amp RV receptacle to mount on the side of my garage. Then I will be able to connect to power at home with out any adaptors. Most 1973-78 GM outfitted Motorhomes had these on the drivers side for connection to the Onan power. Thanks for responding.

John,

I bought one in a box off the shelf at Lowes for about 30$. I looked but could not find the number when I just looked.

I installed this one:

http://www.lowes.com/pd_242308-82364-CHU1S_0__?productId=3027570&Ntt=50+amp+enclosure

If Home Depot is more convenient, it is a couple dollars more

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Eaton-50-Amp-1-Space-1-Circuit-Temporary-RV-Power-Outlet-Box-CHU1S/100565603

Or get this one from Home Depot for about the same price as the Eaton one from Lowes

This is the best one if you have dollars to spend. It gives you a 120v outlet too. Will need 6 gauge wire though.

Thanks for the suggestions. Home Depot is where I'll be going to.
