I really screwed up and am hoping someone can help me out. I took a few photos of my engine bay but not enough...after all I have a parts coach with the complete drivetrain still in it. True BUT, it seems that the 76 455 and the 77 403 are pretty much different beasts.
Is there someone who has the correct coach willing to lift the engine hatch and try to take some photos of the power steering, alternator, and AC compressor...top, front, and side. I will be very grateful. I'll ultimately figure it out but, although I'm normally very good at things like this, these are driving me nuts. If they already exist and someone can point me to them that would work also.
I've been through the photosite and looked at all the engine photos but haven't seen any of the later model configurations.

There are some very good drawings of the motor in the manual. They might help as much as a picture.

Kerry,
In the MM X7725 which is the 77 & 78 Supplement in section 6K pages 4, 5 & 6 pictures the bracket and how they are layed out. If you do not have the MM then go to Bdubs and download:
http://www.bdub.net/manuals/X7725/index.html
You can print the pages out.

Yep, that is it Dennis. Thanks for clearing that up. I'll label it Caddy and put it with the engine.
Pretty well got everything mounted. I just made a bracket to go from the block to that casting. It might not be needed but as my Dad used to say, "nothing ever broke because it was mounted too strong."
