Anyone know where to find repair kits for the air solenoid valves on my Electro-level system? I hate to replace them if I can just reseal them. I'm working on a 1977 Royale.
Thanks, Hal

Hal,
The 2-way and 3-way solenoids where made by Skinner valve which is now a division of Parker Hannifin Corp. The part numbers might have changed and I haven't yet found the cross reference between the old and new numbers. I have the Skinner numbers and you will have to call a Skinner Distributor to see what they can do.

2-way valve has a skinner number of C2DA1251
2-way rebuild kit for that valve is C60-S001
3-way valve has a skinner number of C4DK1150
3-way rebuild kit for that valve is C60-S005

These numbers are at least 10 years old and probably have been superseded by a new part number.
If you're planning to rebuild all 6 valves you're looking at about $180+/-for the 6 kits (2 2-way & 4 3-way). If you decide to used all new valves it will be in the $380+/-range.

I will be doing some more research this week and I have a local supplier of another brand and their might be alternative equip available.

Mr Wright,

Were you able to find out anymore info on another brand of solenoid or alternative equip available in place of the skinner valve. I suspect one of mine is bad but am not for sure.

We stock those valves.
I do not know of a distributer that stocks them, call us when you find out you will need to special order.
Logic dictates that when you run a GMC shop, you need to stock everything.
Our stock fill is always 95-100%
Majority of the time it ships out the same day.
