Please note that the Golden Age Passport or the Senior Pass is NOT
accepted at any Oregon State Parks. There is no discount or freebie. I
called the Oregon State Parks info number and that is what they told me.

Hey Gene;

As it turns out, the South Jetty Dune Access Area in Oregon is actually
run by the USFS (United States Forest Service) and they do accept the
Senior Pass. Same is true for Sand Lake campgrounds outside of Tillamook,
OR. My problem was I couldn't find out if there was a 50% discount off of
the $5.00 day use fee, or if it was free with the pass. And if it is free,
how do you let the USFS rangers that patrol the area, on a not too frequent
basis, know that you have a Senior Pass? Anyway, there ya go...
