I have been working on this 73 for a while now. Got it stretched to 30'. Just finished upgrading to 4 bags and mid-disks. I'll add some more pictures as I go along. Just something to do.

When I first bought the coach, I went to put gas in it. Half of the fuel went on the ground. After looking into the problem, I decided that the design was vulnerable to not only heat but collision damage and since I would be sitting near it, I moved it to a more logical location. Fills fast and easy.

You have to use Epoxy. I cut up another coach for parts.

One difference in mine will be to raise the body slightly so I'll have enough room for the horizontal fill tube above the frame. My fuel pumps now occupy the space where the old tube was.

Tom,
In the Buskirk Stretch coaches the body was raised 2" up off the frame. That is 2" square tubing at each cross member and 1/4" rubber pads and the front and rear body mounts were raised 2" to make up the needed clearance. That helped several things, did not require building a dog house for the engine cover if you want to use an aftermarket intake manifold, it also provided clearance for the air lines and other items that you may want to run under the coach.
