I bought a PD9200 series with charge wizard a few years ago to replace my buzz box. Just now getting around to installing it. Is it as simple as to just cut the red and black feeds close to the buzz box and reconnect to the progressive dynamics? Not looking to save buzz box, just looking for an easy install in the 77 Palm Beach.

Thanks for your input.

You can still use the buzz box as a nice 12 volt source around the house if needed. I use mine on my workbench when testing components.

I asked Mike for his back when we talked about this and I was wondering why I hadn't heard from him.

Mike,
If you don't want it as a bench supply, I do. Just tell me when to come and get it.

Matt

if your Buz box was like mine. then it sat between the batteries and the house power. it's does this because there is a relay that switches between battery and power.

The PD9200 does not use the relay. it scenes dray on the line and provides more power as needed.

The PD9200 has two terminals for +. run your House Power out to one and the Battery + to the other. You can also do the same for the - if you want.

I can call if you need more help
