Does anyone have the procedures to replace the cockpit window channel rubber sleeves on the coach?

We bought the replacement rubber channels from the coop at the Dothan rally and I haven't been able to locate the instructions for replacement. I think Arch had a write up on it but I haven't been able to find it.

Can anyone help?

I'll take a shot at this since I just did it.

Remove the remnants of the old glass channel first and clean the
channels really well. No glue or residue left in there.
This will leave you with a very loose window, naturally. You will wish
it was looser...

Cut a piece of glass channel to fit the bottom. Add a 45° bevel to the
leading edge.

Move the glass back as far as possible and slide the new channel under
it as far as you can. Then pull the glass forward into the new channel
as far as possible.

Now find a way to get hold of the channel that is wrapped around the
glass and HOLD IT while pushing the glass back. With luck this will
slide the new channel along with the glass. Stuff the channel down into
the window frame and do it all again. Pushing the glass forward,
grabbing the channel and sliding glass and channel back. It's not
always as easy at it sound...

Once you get the bottom piece installed then you do the top piece.
There's less room now but someone the top one is just a little easier.

The window only goes so far backwards so the upper and lower glass
channel only needs to be that long. You can finish it off by fitting a
piece at the back of the frame that is "upside down" to fill out the frame.

And then you fit a piece to the leading edge of the frame that has two
45° cuts to match the upper and lower pieces.

Oh... don't forget to cut "drains" in the bottom piece. There are two
slits in the bottom channel that you need to match up with cuts in the
window frame.

It was a process. Hundreds of us have done it and chances are you'll
pull it off, too.
