The thread discussing final drives (Clasco on the road) got split so I am starting a new one:

Below you mention Marvin Peck and his group had many problems with their gears and that they had two gears, 3.46 and 3.49. Can you be more specific on the kinds of problems and did they ever make a 3:70 FD?

I cannot keep track of things. I know your right.
Papers don't lye.
Larry, Marvin Peck and his group had so much problems with their gears,
they decided to have me supply them our 3.55.
They had 2 gears, 1st was around 3.46, 2nd was 3.49.
Marvin was quite a guy, we had lot of fun moments hasseling around on final
drive units and when he wanted me to purchase his inventory of spacers and
bearings, he led me to believe that he was the most underfunded person.
Later I ound out that he had so much
