For sale online. Don't want to bother the seller, as I am not interested in buying.

Neat bumpers - wonder where they came from?

They look like they might be from a mid-90's suburban, but they are not quite the same.

Anyone know this coach?

Edited to fix dead links.

The one in the photos has longer ends and more material on top. Hell they may even be custom, but they look familiar.

Anyone know this coach?

Mystery Solved. Alex Sirum Motorhomes carries them:

https://web.archive.org/web/20100123173822/http://www.gmcmh.com/New_Folder3/Birdsall%20bumpers.htm

Edit: Updated 3/2020. Sirum may still carry them, but the link is dead. Link above is from the wayback Archive.

Don't know about the construction.

Don't know why my google foo could not find them when I first posted, yet today it was in the first page when I put in "GMC Motorhome bumper" - go figure.

The do look nice, though.

Update on the custom bumpers

Managed to find a used set of these and scooped them up.

From what I can tell, seems they were made by a boatmaker in Florida. Very nicely done. Sturdy Fiberglass construction. Front appears to have aluminum inserts molded in that attach to the vertical bumper bolts on the bumper shocks. The rear bolt directly to the rear frame and have storage boxes built in. They are sturdy, but the rear requires that you delete the bumper shocks. Not that the Fiberglass has any real impact strength, but...

Talked to Jim Bounds at Cooperative Motor Works, he says he still has a set of new ones, and says the original maker will make more if there is demand. Don't know if Sirum still has the same access - worth a call.
