About to remove front headliner but run into a silly problem:
I unscrewed the speaker/lamp unit, but I have to take of the lens to be able to disconnect the wiring.
I can't find the way to take the lens of ???
Please help

The lens is a snap in. If you gently squeeze while prying from underneath the edge it should pop off ( and then squirt out of your hand so you can practice juggling)
The lamps in my royale do not disconnect from the harness any other place than the bulb holder. Once the lamp is off the bulb holders can be carefully extracted from the lam housing ( make sure you pull the fuse first). If all you are after is to get the cap out, you can articulate the lamp / speaker assy and it will fit back through the hole where it can be hung on the roof framing as long as someone has not upgraded the speakers to a larger magnet.

Thanks to you all ( also the pm) Found it hard to get a grip to squeeze and got help from my plastic screwdriver ( for repairing iphones)
Found these very intersting lightbulbs, never seen those before, not sure thes exist in Europe.
well I am putting a order together for JimK, sure he has some so I can have a few spares
Wonde if these are available as LED ?

I bought some from Jim. They are very bright, put out almost no heat, and are a bit more blue than yellow.
