I was just watching a fellow "camper" (When you bring your own house, that ain't Campin') packing is TT to depart. It had a drawer that went all the way though the unit transversely. An Avion owner could do a similar pretty easily. What a great place to store fishing poles, long bows, muskets and harpoons.

Matt,
I took a metal fabrication course down in Sydney and made two galvanized sheet metal drawers like you noted below. I made two
because the total length at floor level would be about 8 feet and one drawer that length would be a pita to deal with. The first
drawer is about 5 feet long and the second 3. I pull out the 32 footer and can reach in and grab the flop down handle on the five
footer.
