In my ordering parts from Jim K. I forgot the final drive cover gasket. So I looked up the part # in my booklet. It listed Fel-Pro #RDS 55034. I called O"Reilly's. They said they would have it the next day. GREAT. I picked it up and take it home so I can finish changing the gear lube in both GMC's. I had pulled the covers the day before to let them drain over night. One had 29,000 miles on mine. The other had never been changed. Open the boxes, and neither gasket had the correct vented gasket. If I hadn't been a dues paying club member. I would have not known that the gaskets from Fel-Pro were WRONG. Looked perfect, but no vent. So I got on the phone to Jim K. The Fel-Pro gasket that I got from Jim K had the same part # as the one from O'Reilly's. Jim K. got me the CORRECT part in the box. So, Thank you to Jim K, and all the vendors for putting their MONEY on the line. And doing a great job for us. And I hope you all are paid well enough to make it worth your while. Bob

I cannot do every thing here as were doing so much 6-7 days a week, but
when it comes to parts, we catch things like wrong part in a box or parts
missing,etc.
John in receiving catches some and Nick and I catch some along with our
mechanics.
We are always on the phone with the other GMC shops so we try to stay on
top.

Mike,
You can do so , but it would e best to duplicate the channel they have as
it lessens a chance for grease to vent out.
Do not use sealent as it will plug the vent channel.
