This would be great for the speed demons if it fit but even the valve
covers may be a problem not considering the high rise intake manifold/carb
would need a box over the engine cover. Also, the cam may be too
radical/not the right torque curve for the GMC MH. Not too far from
Jim/Manny though who probably have their own interests.

Your right, great motor for a 442, but not for the motorhome. Built for a different application.

Probably be a great motor for a car & $8K is a good deal, Mondello's biggie is $12K.  When you talk about those motors you forget $.  It's that way really about any performance purpose built motor.If you find one cheap, be very afraid.   Forget the down and dirty $4k motors, just ain't hapnen.  Out machine work and parts is more than that.  Truly with a motor, you get what you pay for, no way around it.  Our roller cam motors are $6K and you cannot do better.  Joe told me I have Campaign ideas on a beer budget!  I resemble that remark and appreciate the recognition!
