I repaired many parts on my coach with (West System G Flex)
you can fill holes, repair cracks, and build up missing pieces.
It takes about 8 hours to cure and is a little rubbery to sand but
it sticks to almost anything and won't crack. West marine stocks it.

Thanks Larry for the timely info.  I just removed all the plastic from my cockpit all the way down to the firewall.  It was impossible to remove the dashboard without chiseling away the plastic around the screws under the windshield.  The screws must have been installed before the windshield was.  Even with the dashboard removed, visegrips were needed to break them loose and unscrew.  Not sure I want to put the original dash back in since it is fairly brittle after 37 yrs of service but I'll try some G Flex and see how it works.
