Got the new petcock and will soon be sending a dozen eggs to Rob...<VBG>
The chromed nut will not 'quite' screw on to my new tanks. Can I just tap
to remove the excess chrome plating?

Mike, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Can`t get no quality no more. The last Ping I got leaked, replaced and it leaked. Still got it, still leaking.

Greetings,

Not one to miss an opportunity to "upgrade" (Q-Bag & Disk Brake), and always enjoy cool engineering (just because you can), looking to be "schooled" in why this would be a desirable upgrade.

But some very nice machine work/fixtures and can appreciate modification for that alone!
