there seems to be plenty on the first weekend of June this year it seems.

with all the GMC people seem to go right along with VW people, and most of us towing VW's behind our GMCs.

I can't believe Dan is the only GMC guy that goes to the VW fun fest. I would think there should be a GMC row.

I went a few years ago, and was almost set to take my GMC there this year, but the wife has family flying in from England now, so I cannot go.

take a look at the schedule:

http://www.funfestacvw.com/schedule2013.aspx

Free camping, all that and more for $10.00. It has to be one of the best deals in the country. camping, fireworks, live music two nights. car cruise.

give Dan some company, since I cannot be there.

Looks to be a nice event but I've never heard of it before. You'd think with a sponsor like Mid-America Motorworks the word would have gotten out. I've just moved form the Pacific Northwest to the Southwest so I'm still getting used to the word on regional events.

I went years ago when they were also doing a PorscheFest. Great event in the middle of Illinois put on by nice folks.

If you like VWs, you'll have a fun weekend!

I dropped my subscription to Dune Buggies and Hot VWs about 30 years ago.
Still got my last rail chassis though, with a rusted up 1600 dual port
sittin in it.
