Rob,
The window in question has the glass sliding horizontally. The felts need replacing, otherwise its a 40 year old window.
From your description it sounds like you want vertically sliding window. Anyway I'll bite at the offer.

I thought the window you want to block off was one of the small ones with the horizontal split that slides up and down.
