I need to find someone in the Indiana area,to work on my 4K Power Drawer Onan.
I have replaced just about everything electrical with new parts,(Including two circuit boards.)
The motor turns over, but will not start.Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Ahem. :) Um, I took an Onan from totally dead to actually runs, starting
with zero knowledge, using nothing but the GMC net, the manuals, and
persistence. I even shot video on Youtube of the endeavor.
What are the symptoms? Have you jumpered the control board to eliminate it
as a possibiliity? Have you replaced the coil, plug wires, spark plugs, and
made sure they were properly gapped? There's a zillion things it can be,
almost all of which are plenty fixable.

Larry,
Robin managed with books and some tele-help (also available to you), so if you were to persist, I expect that you could also succeed.
If you feel completely lost, try to get to to the Miller/Eastern States work rally in Hamilton OH (~150miles) at the end of the month. Young James Miller knows Power Draws (among other things) very well, and if between he and I we can't diagnose and possibly cure your issues, I would be very surprised.

I wish I had known earlier today. I just came through that area about 6 hours ago on my way back for Bean Station and I could have stopped by. Give me a telephone call and we can figure out what your problem is. call two one nine -988-four5four7
Unfortunately I have worked on more of those than I want to talk about. We will get yours going.

Links, please? I know these things are old hat to you vets, but This kind of data cannot be reposted often enough.
Before my engine toasted, I was working the identical problem. Replaced the board, plugs, wires, coil (chrome Harley), and cleaned the fuel filter and carb. All of the components looked original, so it wasn't like the systems couldn't have used a freshening. The unit would turn over (and as it turned out was firing) but would die as soon as the start button was released.
After replacing the board, the unit started and ran. While it was running, however, I had no 120 in the coach. I let it run for about ten minutes trying the outlets before packing it in to run other errands. Later in the day I started it up again to try and troubleshoot the 120 and it ran for another 20 minutes.
That night, it was back to stopping as soon as the starter button was released.
???????
Of course, this was as I was waiting for the tow, so it hasn't been
High on the priority list.
It is possible it was a defective board, and I was planning on ordering another to keep as a spare, but as it is acting like it did before the replacement board, it also calls into question if it was the board at all.

That reeks of Voltage Regulator to me. :)
Anyway, I think the discussion may have fragmented across a couple of
threadds. here is the main one... Warrning, ten pages. :) It may give you
some ideas of what to look for. By NO MEANS is it any sort of HOWTO... I am
lucky to have escaped injury/death/property destruction. If I can't be a
good example, at least I can be a horrible warning. :)
