The forum has been unreachable for at least 2 days if I use my DSL
connection from CenturyLink (Qwest). It works fine with my Verizon
connection. I have reported this to the phone company but no progress yet.
At least one other person in the Tucson area (Carl S.) is having the same
problem.
Emailers: Please try going to *gmc.mybirdfeeder.net* with your browser and
reply if it does not work. I would like to know if it is local or wider
spread since someone back East reported a similar problem with their phone
yesterday.
Thanks,
Armand Minnie

The problem has been reported as a DNS problem.
If you will go to a command prompt and type NSLOOKUP followed by enter, a set of numbers will appear. As an example one of Verizon's DNSs is 4.2.2.2. Give me those numbers that are displayed and I'll try your DNS from here.
Once a DNS gets poisioned it takes a while to flush out the bad entry.

The problem with DNS poisoning is one DNS feed others. So one entry that is wrong it gets propagated through many systems. The bad entry gets held in a table and it is up to the DNS programmer how log it is kept there before it is flushed or updated again. So even if the original erroneous entry is fixed in one server it takes a while (sometimes days) before all of the other poisioned servers down stream are corrected.
