I was at a friends house to help on his 76 GMC. His had two pieces of frame that was bolted to the main frame just behind the front tires. And is bolted to the main front cross frame member. My 78 doesn't have them. But the bolt holes are there. Does anyone have them to sell? Bob Dunahugh 319-521-4891, or e-mail

Those braces are GM part#795964. See page 11-2 Key 2 in the 78Z parts book. They are not available new but you might get them from Jim B, Jeff Sirum, Jim K or someone else might have a parts coach. The ones that would fit your coach are off coaches after serial number 5V100542. They do get bent and you might be able to use unistrut to make your own.
