How do I find out where/when rallies are held in the NE? What about work rallies? I would love to attend some, especially work rallies, but I dont think I'm ready to go 1000 miles yet. Soon I hope.
I'm in the NYC area but would go anywhere in New England. Its starting to get very nice up here. I just haven't run across any conversations regarding anything up here. I assume I'm just missing it somehow.
Thanks all....

Hi Daryn,
I am also a Hudson Valley, NY GMCer and can offer some suggestions.
There are 2 "local" GMC Clubs that I am a member of and would suggest they both have great rallies. Unfortunately neither club has a website and finding out what is happening if you are not a member is difficult. This really needs to change.
Here is contact information:
GMC Colonial Travelers
Rallies held each month in NJ & PA
Contact: freyjanetr@yahoo.com
GMC Nor'Easters
Rallies held each month primarily New England
Contact: Bill Kittredge kittredgep@optonline.net
Heritage Cruisers are a great club but centered in the Buffalo area, quite a distance from us.
Get back to me if I can be of any assistance.

Bill,
As a refugee from the East Coast, it would be nice to know when/where more...
Is there a chance that we could get these people to communicate the schedule to Bdub so he could put in the Gcalendar?
Matt
I have suggested they do something about that and will keep pushing for it. May I suggest a couple of you (yes, just a couple) emailing the 2 clubs I mentioned asking for information since you didn't know they existed.

How about the Heritage Cruisers, or is that too far away.

Byron,
The Heritage Cruisers are centered around Niagara Falls/Buffalo. The 2 clubs I mentioned draw the majority of their members from New England and NJ & Eastern PA.
Buffalo would be over 360 miles from me, too far for a weekend rally:^)

I've reached out to the nor'easters. I will see what they have going first. I hope they get back. I think they may be the closest. I have family in VT and tend to head north most of the time. The more roadworthy I get will determine how far I end up going.

Breaking the thread, but this thread has some prime examples.
When doing a listing involving phone numbers and or e-mail addresses, please do not list it directly.
For phone numbers mix in the number value spelled out as a word. 6 =. Six.
For e-mail, separate the listing out and use the word "at" instead do @.
EX: jim at gmail dot com, instead of jim@gmail.com.
This will not stop all scammers, but will stop most automated scalping software, since you have broken the pattern. A human can easily interpret your meaning.
Just my little touch of Paranoria.
