Today, while driving in Jackson, MS, we were on an small road. There was a GMC. 26' Eleganza II, with last tags dated 1994 and matching inspection sticker from same year. Does not look like it has moved since that time frame. 5 of the 6 tires were flat. Needs a very good cleaning.
For the record book, TZE 166 V 101625
Any idea who's it is? Parked in front of a set of offices.

Sir Robin of Loxley will attempt to discover ownership, when I remember more exactly where I saw it. Working the issue.
That makes 4 in the Jackson area that I know of, with 50% belonging to Robin.

I could pick it up cheap, fix it up, and either flip it, start a rental
business, or add it to my fleet. :)
My wife would murder me. :)
That, or I'd be featured on an episode of Hoarders. :)
I need a barn.

Tom,
Thanks again for the heads-up on this coach. It was NOT in the Registry! But it is now...
They just keep coming out of the woodwork.

Could you look in Google maps using the satellite view and figure out where
it's located? I'd like to make a field trip out there and take some
pictures and have a look at it. See if I can figure out who owns it.

And THANKS!!
I'm seeing an average of 1 coach per day on craigslist. That includes a lot of repeats, but even if we reduce that by 2/3 rds for actal sales there are 120+ a year changing hands just via craigslist. Add other sales methods, rvtrader, whatever and no telling what the total true number of ownership changes might be.

<< Jerry,
It's up to 8,335 listings now. I've entered 259 new coaches since acquiring the Registry from Dave in May of 2011. And have made countless ownership changes. shot >>
Shot, can you tell how many are still viable. Well, I'm sure many are parked, maybe better how many destroied / parted out?

Don,
Impossible to tell the number of coaches still going down the road. All of the info in the Registry started out 20 years ago, and a lot of it has not changed over all of those years.
Just this past week I found out about a coach that had been in an accident and was destroyed - 10 years ago!
There are, at the moment, 129 coaches that I have marked as *Gone* - accidents, fire, parted out, etc. I'm sure there are many, many more that are gone - we just don't know about them. This is why I asked that a 'sticky' be put on the swap meet part of the forum about owners parting out coaches. We need to know about them.
Don't know if I answered your question(s), and we know the Registry is only as good as the info that owners, new and old, provide, and we can up with.
I'm working on getting the Registry logo that Byron came up with on all of the various GMC clubs sites, so owners know it exists. That will help.

About 10 years ago, I did a public records request in Ohio and got the list
of licensed owners. I had intended to do the same in each state. Either
fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your viewpoint, this was just at
the time that privacy laws in states were rapidly changing. It became
apparent that this was going to be difficult to do 50 times. I gave up.
If someone really wanted to do it, it is probably possible to
get anonymized data from each license agency. It will likely cost you
some money for processing fees and will take learning each states laws.
