Sean, on the back of the bogie, the stud has a shoulder with two flat
spaces for a wrench that will allow you to hold the stud from turning. Use
a pneumatic impact to remove the nut.

The shocks were Delco, I bet original to the coach. Air bags with aluminum cones are now available, I have a third (spare) with plastic if anyone is looking for them.
